We are Community Problem Solvers

The SELF Movement is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in compliance with all applicable laws of the State of Florida. The organization was founded in April of 2010 and has provided leadership development and scholarship programs to high school students in North East Florida. With no past overhead costs charged to the organization, it is a perfectly efficient run nonprofit organization that today boasts a diverse group of motivated community problem solvers.


William Bade

Founder

William (Bill) Bade has dedicated a significant portion of his life over the last ten years to serving others, with an emphasis in youth development and alleviating the discomfort of the poor or perceived less fortunate. His immediate goal in founding The SELF Movement, Inc. is to connect community problem solvers with meaningful and personal volunteer projects under the umbrella of a single, efficient non-profit organization.

Kyle Bergin

President

Kyle Bergin has been in Business Development roles since 2001. He is currently the District Manager for ADP Resource, a complete, flexible human resources and payroll service provider offering a wide array of Human Resource (HR) solutions. ADP simplifies HR administration through a single source solution that provides access to on-site HR expertise, payroll, compliance, and employee retention tools using leading edge technology.

Prior to joining ADP, Kyle worked with Ricoh Americas Corporation, which acquired IKON Office Solutions in 2008.

Jennifer Connell

Vice President

Jennifer Connell is not your typical entrepreneur. She thrives when she serves in a consultative role, supporting individuals in developing their internal capacity to lead, adapt to change, and achieve new heights of success. She earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Systems and integrates her multi-disciplinary professional and personal experience with her integrity, humor, creativity and passion. Her dynamic style enhances her ability to bridge the gap between an individual’s vision and the human resources required to fulfill it.

Garrick Gibson

Director

Garrick Gibson has been described as an intense seeker, a born innovator and a true teacher. He has an innate ability to see people for who they truly are and use his talents to help them to express their inner genius through visual communication. Garrick has an extensive background in fine arts, graphic design, web design and multimedia. He uses these mediums to help clients express their super natural abilities. Much of his communications skills were honed during the early days of his career in the newspaper industry.

Samuel Hall

Director

Samuel P. Hall has over 25 years of experience in the fields of human resources, management and consulting. His work experience spreads across a variety of industries. He served as a Regional Executive Director for the international training and development non-profit, INROADS, Inc., the Regional Human Resources Director for Cintas Corporation an international service company, and has provided consultative services in the fields of diversity, human resources and organizational development to non-profit organizations, academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies.

Standralyn Terry

Director

Many in the higher education and business communities regard Standralyn Terry as a leading resource and sought-after consultant on organizational development, strategic management and entrepreneurship. Her enthusiasm helps her to quickly connect with people and make an impact on them to take action.

Standralyn has over ten years of experience in higher education including leadership positions at Florida State College and Keiser University. She is also an entrepreneur, founding GreenSleeves Property Services in 2006.

Robert (Bob) Bryan

Robert (Bob) Bryan

Director

Bob Bryan is a professional veteran of both higher education and non-profit leadership. He has served as the Director of Student Development at North Carolina State University, the Executive Director of the North Carolina State Alumni Association, the Chapter President of the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the National MS Society, and the Executive Director of Dignity U Wear. Bob is currently serves as the Senior Campaign Director at Northern and Central Florida Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
