Student Voice Scholarship - High School Contest 2014 by The SELF Movement

The Student Voice Scholarship was designed BY high school students FOR high school students. This is YOUR opportunity to showcase your ideas to change your community, your city, or the world. A winning idea can win you $4,000 towards your college education!

Get started by following these steps:

Step 1: Read the Rules

Prizes for the SVS are awarded based on essay responses in the scholarship application and the live presentation to a panel of judges. While your GPA and test scores are NOT used in the judging process, your academic performance is used to determine eligibility to ensure that you are prepared to enter college. The eligibility rules for applying to the SVS can be found in the Marketing Brochure.

Step 2: Submit Your Application

Download and complete the application and submit it to Student Activities Director Ms. Morrison by April 21st.

Step 3: Prepare Your Presentation

All students that meet the eligibility requirements for the scholarship and submit a complete application will be invited to present their idea or work to a panel of local judges on May 17th at Lee High School. The presentations must be no longer than five minutes and an additional five to ten minutes will be allotted for questions from the judges panel. The two $4,000 scholarship winners will be notified and honored at an event tentatively scheduled for late May, 2014.
